Like we talked about in the last chapter, your seedling needs to find a bigger home 🏡 so its root system can grow and expand! In this chapter 📗, we will learn about the different options for where you can continue to grow your seedlings! 💓
If you don’t have space for a raised bed or an in-ground garden, this is a great option!
You can get creative with the type of pot you use for your plants! They don’t have to be big and fancy 🪴, but any container big enough to hold the plant and that has drainage holes for the water to escape will work! 💧
If you have the space for a raised garden outside of your home or already have a raised bed at your home, this is a great option!
There are two types of raised beds:
A raised bed is just an open box of soil that is contained above the ground. Raised beds provide you control over the health ❤️🩹 of the soil where you are growing your plants. The goal is to create a deep, wide growing area that encourages plant roots to grow down and outward🌱.
This is an on-ground raised bed!
