Like we learned in chapter 1 - the plant life cycle starts with a seed!
Seeds are like little babies 👶. The three main parts of a seed are its its embryo, food storage, and seed coat! The embryo is the part of the seed that sprouts its roots, stem, and leaves 🌿. The seed coat is the seeds protection from the outside world! 🌏
Almost all plants in our world come from seeds! Seeds are dispersed in many ways, such as moving water 💧, wind 💨, animals 🐿️, and humans 💑.
That means, at some point in your life, you probably helped a seed get to its new home 🏠! When seeds fall on soil with necessary things, such as water and the right temperature 🌡️, they germinate and start their journey of life 🤗.
