🎉It’s time to plant your seeds!

The seeds you plant are going to become full plants! They just need a few things to grow: water 💦, light ☀️, and time! ⏰

• [ ] Activity: Using your finger, poke a hole in the top of the soil in the center of your cup. Each hole should be as deep as the tip of your finger. 👆

<aside> 👀 Notice how there are only 4 types of seeds in your packet! Since you can plant seeds into 6 cups, pick two of your favorite kinds of seeds to plant twice - you can compare later on which cups grew seedlings the fastest! 🌱

✅ Once each planting cup has a hole, gently place 2-3 seeds of the same variety into the first cup.

Now repeat for each of the different types of seeds until all 6 cups are filled! 🤏

Make sure you remember which seeds you planted where!

You’ve just planted a bunch of seeds, like a real gardener! How do you feel?

Now with your finger, cover the seeds with soil, so that each planting cup looks the same!

Now, let’s label those seeds!

What you need for this activity:

• 6 labels (provided in our kit) or popsicle sticks
• Colored marker or pen
