Let’s talk about watering! 💦

Did you know that more than 90% of every plant is made of water? 💧

💦 Water helps convert energy from the sun into energy for the plant! In the beginning stages of plant growth, it also helps soften the hard seed coat, to help the baby plant break free from its outside coating and begin to sprout! 🌱

[ ] Activity: Grab a cup of water and your water dropper. Squeeze the water dropper while inside the cup of water to fill it with water.

Go over each seed you just planted and gently squeeze the water onto the top of the soil.

Water your seeds until the soil is a little damp, but NOT too wet where the water is looks like a swimming pool - between 1-4 full squeezes should be enough for each cup!

- For each type of seed you have, how many days do you think it will take to pop out of the soil?
